Responsible Coaching Award: Award
The 2007 Responsible Coaching Award winners have been announced!
Nomination period is now closed. Nominations were due by December 7th, 2007. Thank you to everyone who nominated a coach! Check back with us this spring to see when the Coaching Awards will be reopened for 2008.
The Liberty Mutual Responsible Coaching Selection Committee, made up of members of Positive Coaching Alliance, US Youth Soccer, USA Football, and Liberty Mutual will review all nominations. Winning nominees will be judged based on the following: (1) nomination essay, (2) coach's statement, (3) coaching resume (as provided by the coach and verified by youth sport organizations) (3) coaching references, and (4) community/volunteer activities. Finalists will be notified and subject to background checks.
Winning coaches designated a youth sport organization of their choice as a recipient of their $500 Grant . Youth sport organizations must be registered non-profit youth sport organizations recognized by the governing bodies of their sport(s). Organizations must serve the community at large and must be open to the general public, without bias, prejudice or discrimination regarding participation. Liberty Mutual reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to exclude any youth sport organization deemed to be private and/or contrary to the goals of the Responsible Sports program.
